Box Making Workshop (in Finnish)

Boxes can be both beautiful and practical, adding a touch of aesthetics to your daily life! In just one day, you can create a protective case for an important book, valuable jewelry, or a box for your life’s photos. These boxes are also great for storing tools such as brushes, knitting needles, and drafting tools, keeping them well-organized. The material used is cardboard suitable for covering with paper, and the most important tools are a snap-off blade knife and a cutting mat.

The workshop is suitable for everyone interested and requires no prior skills. Young participants must be accompanied by a guardian or another adult, as the workshop involves handling sharp objects. The workshop is not suitable for younger children.

The course fee is €39, not including materials. An information letter will be sent to registered participants before the course starts, detailing the necessary materials and tools. You may use your own materials (e.g., repurpose papers), or purchase desired materials from the teacher and borrow tools on-site. The workshop is led by artisan Erja Huovila.

Welcome to try making your own boxes!
